Abstract: | In the ten years of its existence the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) has secured its place as an important force in world politics. The author analyses the national and international conflicts which are involved in the struggle for true national independence on the African continent. Examples of national movements are given from Sudan, Morocco and Egypt. The role of Marxist parties in Africa is also discussed. Notes; map. |
