Abstract: | After looking at how legislative measures are conceived, processed, popularized and stamped with the approval of the Cabinet and the National Assembly (The chronology of new legislation), the author discusses the various consultative and advisory bodies, such as Government departments, whose interests and programmes may be affected by the proposed measure, and experts in particular fields, with some examples of such an advisory body. He exposes the nature of advisory bodies and their role in the administrative process. |
