Abstract: | The first real prospects of developing the vast, little-known areas of the S. Sudan have been opened up by one of the most important events in Sudan communications: the extension of the northern railway to Wau, capital of Bahr el Ghazal Province. The Southern Sudan now has a railway service over which its products can be carried for marketing; materials can be more readily supplied. Zie ook: Neues Afrika 1) W.
