Abstract: | This article examines a border dispute between South Africa and Namibia. It concerns a territory immediately north of the Orange River. It discusses the viewpoints of the Supreme Court in Windhoek and the official South African standpoint, and also a number of international law isues which have arisen in this question. The conclusion is that a final boundary must be connected with the actual granting of independence to Namibia. – Map, notes. |
