Abstract: | Aim of this study is to have an insight into the socio-economic background, the sexual behaviour, and the occurence of venereal diseases among a group of girls that haunts the bars and nightclubs in an East African seaport, Mombasa. The results showed that most of them were young adult girls, with low standard of education. The prevalence of gonorrhoea among the girls was about 33%. (ASC Documentation) |
