Abstract: | A collection of seven papers. Four emerged from a Norwegian-Sudanese research project which started in December 1975 with the object to: develop expertise in collecting and analysing relevant information to development; increase the understanding of interdependencies characteristic of savannah regions; and to make the information available to ongoing development projects or national planning institutions. Two papers are based on previous research. The editor also contributed an introductory paper. |
