What is Card Indexing?
Explanation
Card Indexing consists of several cards of a standard size, each concerned with one item of the index. The heading is written on the top edge of the card and the remaining space is used to indicate the place where the corresponding record is kept.
The lower portion of a card also carries certain essential information.
